For a long time we were using limited preset amount of priority "slots" for your tickets like #1, #2 . . #10 and this system was working great until you come up to a certain number of opened tickets.

For example if you have 5 tickets opened, and you need to make the #5 one to be a #1 priority for you then you need to change #5 to #1, the one that was #1 should become #2, #2 goes to #3 and so on, this is definitely not the thing you and us would like to spend a time to.

That is why we are introducing new Priority Queue system based on integer values which are not preset in the system but set by you.

How does that work?

When you sequence tasks, you may use numbers like 10, 20, 30, etc. on the first pass (Less number - higher priority)That way when you refine the sequencing or need to slide something in between two other tasks, you can give it a 25 or a 21, etc. Leaving these intervals between numbers allow you to re-prioritize tasks without touching other ones, making everyone's life easier.

If you have any additional thoughts or notes, just login to your MemberFix portal (opens in a new tab) and update the ticket at your leisure.

PS. Old "Priority Order #" field will be there for some time to ensure smooth transition to a new system, but please keep in mind that this one will eventually become a deprecated one so we encourage you to use a new system.
